Admissions Information Session (30 minutes).
This information session is with an admissions representative to address any admissions-related questions you may have, learn about requirements for admission and the application process, and find out about how Oregon State may be the best college fit for you. Key information about application deadlines, financial aid and scholarships, and campus housing is provided.
Honors College Tour and Information Session 10:00am, 1:00pm & 3:00pm daily (45 minutes)
The Honors College (HC) offers an informational session and tour for prospective students with a college representative who will explain the UHC program and its benefits as well as the application process. After an informative presentation there will be a short tour of UHC classrooms and student study spaces. Space is limited.
College of Business Tour 1:00pm (45 minutes)
Austin Hall is the brand new home to the College of Business and we are excited to share it with you! This tour will take visitors through Austin Hall and provide information about majors, student clubs, amenities offered to Business students and the opportunity to hear from a current student about their experiences. Stop by the Career Success Center after to get any additional information. The College of Business includes Merchandising Management and Design and Innovation Management programs.
College of Engineering Tour 2:00pm (1 hour)
Come learn about majors, student clubs, internships, and undergraduate research opportunities available through the College of Engineering! This tour provides visitors with college information from a current Engineering student perspective and useful distinctions between the academic programs and schools within the college. See first-hand what makes this college a dynamic place to learn and grow.
College of Liberal Arts Session 10:00am (45 minutes)
Hear from a current College of Liberal Arts student on major programs such as Digital Communication Arts, Graphic Design, and pre-law options. You can also learn more about getting involved with music or student media at Oregon State.
College of Public Health & Human Sciences Tour 1:00pm (45 minutes)
CPHHS offers exciting and innovative majors, such as Exercise and Sport Science, Athletic Training, Nutrition, Public Health and Human Development and Family Science. On this tour visitors have the opportunity to hear from student peers who will guide them through related research labs, historic buildings and classrooms. An advisor will be ‘on call’ to answer visitor questions after the tour.
College of Science Tour 1:00pm (45 minutes).
Take a 45 minute tour of some Science labs and facilities, led by a current College of Science student. Biology/Zoology-interested students will have an information session directly following the tour. Other Science majors should request academic appointments through the visit request form.
Natural Sciences Tour: Agriculture, Forestry, and Earth, Ocean & Atmospheric Sciences 2:00pm (1 hour)
Interested in the natural world? Spend an hour hearing about the facilities and programs within three colleges: The College of Agricultural Sciences, the College of Earth, Ocean & Atmospheric Sciences, and the College of Forestry. Learn about how these colleges educate the next generation of scholars, practitioners and responsible users of the world's resources. Check out the home of majors like Environmental Sciences, Animal Sciences, and Natural Resources. Explore opportunities for experiential learning such as undergraduate research, internships, clubs, and study abroad.
University Exploratory Studies Program Meeting (30 minutes)
Undecided on what to major in? Exploring different academic areas of interest? Meet with the University Exploratory Studies Program (UESP) to learn all about majors at Oregon State University. Generally available 10am-12pm Monday - Friday and on a case-by-case basis all other days.
ROTC [Air Force, Army, Naval] (30 minutes)
Meet with a representative from any of the ROTC branches you are interested in. These are individual appointments schedule based on availability.
Housing Tour 3:00pm (30 minutes)
For admitted students only, this housing tour will take visitors through a residence hall lounge, a showroom and discuss amenities and resources available to students living on campus. Due to safety and privacy concerns, TOUR Ambassadors are only allowed to visit the show room and are not able to entertain requests to see any other rooms in any other halls. The 90-minute Campus Tour will incorporate the show room in Bloss Hall, Finley Hall or Callahan Hall. The restrictions outlined above still pertain to this tour.
